We are home!

We are back home. Carson did well in surgery and was a trooper on the way home. They said not much has changed. His airway has grown proportionately but still needs to grow more. They did increase the size of his trach (meaning he should be able to pull more air & it should be easier for him to breathe. He will most likely need a big airway reconstruction in the future. The first shot is always most successful so you don't want to rush it. We will go back in a year. So the answer is just WAIT. What a hard thing to do!! Thank you, thank you for all your prayers! I will try to post some pictures later but right now we are in a mad rush to get the last of our stuff moved out of the house.
