I checked your blog for the first time today. I have been missing these beautiful boys for seven weeks! I was thrilled to see how much Carson has improved and Kellen and Carson are growing stronger. The best medicine is love and prayers and the boys have plenty of both to keep them progressing. The doctors and the whole family are around the clock nurturing and advising, so the boys are in perfect Godly hands and loving earthly hands. Love just flows from my computer to your hearts! I will keep checking the updates. I will also let Bishop Leibrecht know how the boys are progressing and give him your blog address. Bishop Leibrecht was at Holy Trinity saying Mass the Sunday Elizabeth and Preston were visiting in October. He blessed the babies in the womb and he wrote and asked me to give him an update on their progress. I will give him an update today.

Merry Christmas to Preston, Elizabeth, Carson and Kellen! This is your Aunt and Great Aunt Alice. I wanted to sign your guest book on this very special day. I have told you this already but these precious boys of yours have blessed so many people. I have never personally witnessed such a concerted and powerful prayer effort. Hearing how other people's lives were touched while praying for Carson and Kellen was just...almost overwhelming. Just in our family-I feel Grandma Hermesch smiling every time we pray the chaplet for Carson. That was one of, if not her most favorite, prayers. I agree with Elizabeth Tomilieri that your children are God's missionaries. Please know that we will be continuing to 'storm heaven with prayers' (another of Grandma Hermesch's favorite sayings) for Carson's continued healing, for Kellen to continue doing well and for God's strength and peace for you, Preston and Elizabeth!!

I'm listening to "Angels We Have Heard on High" as I read today's post and see these precious pictures of "our" boys. Tears streaming down my cheeks as I ponder the wonder of the season and how our little Lord Jesus has taken care of these little ones (with a LOT of help from countless "elves"!) Hello family! You don't know me, but I know of you! I live in Virginia and my sister works with Grandma Francie. I've been updated on the twins' progress and read the blog each morning. After a good cry followed by prayer, I start my day! Know that the circle of positive thought and prayer is wider than you might think!

I am on the "internet intercessors" prayer chain through I.C. parish in Springfield and have been praying for your family for the past few months. Elizabeth just put me in touch with the blog after I inquired about the boys' health. I am pregnant with my third child, and offer up my nighttime wakings, daytime mad-dashes for the bathroom, and anytime growing pains for your family. With each of these physical signals, I am reminded of my own blessings in a healthy growing baby & pregnancy, and take the opportunity to pray for you and your sweet boys. It was great to put faces with names as I looked at your blog this evening. You will continue to be close to my heart as you face each challenge the new days bring. I pray for you to feel peace and the comfort of angels as well as your family and friends. I am overjoyed by the many miracles your family has witnessed already!

Just a note to let you know I am praying for the babies, mom & dad, grandparents and all of your family, as many Holy Trinity parishioners are. I was so pleased to have a visit from Grandma Francie last week, when she told me about the blog and how well the boys are doing. The Lord hears our prayers, doesn’t he?

Oh, what a joy, dear Elizabeth and Preston, to be able to turn to your beautiful blogspot and look at the pictures posted while I am praying for your family. Elizabeth, remember when I wrote in the note with your shower gift that as I prayed for you and the babies, I heard God say, “They are my missionaries”? Has that ever turned out to be a revelation! So many hearts are tuned in to your babies and faith confirmed and strengthened. We know the agonizing moments and the relief moments you have gone through because through Sarah and Alice and Carolyn, you have shared those moments with us (and Francie’s phone calls, which I cherish). Oh, how all of us travail and/or leap with joy when we hear about the babies. We are with you all the way, praying day and night….your family is always on our hearts and our minds. May God continue to bless you with faith and strength and healing, and your babies with abundant life as we pray daily for each and every specific request. We love you!

We really enjoy following your story on Facebook and at your blog. We really loved all your pictures, but especially the one of the pilgrim and indian. They were so cute! We're thrilled with how well the boys are doing and how much they have improved over the last 3 weeks. God really does still perform miracles, and we think it's fantastic that you've documented it here for them to see once they are all grown up! Boys, take it easy on your parents. They worked really hard to get you here and even harder once you came! Tayler thinks they are perfect and precious...I have to agree. :) Take care, and we will continue to send pop tabs to Ronald McDonald House...and let us know if there's something bigger we can do.

From one mother of twins to another, I am sending our greetings, our love and our best wishes for continued progress for all! Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey in God's plan. Your family is the catalyst for more praying and thanks than I remember since our boys were given to us by God. Our children are His gift to us and I have to believe that He knows with which families these little lives should be placed. Keep your positive thoughts and prayers as you face each day, each hour, each minute in His world. You know that there are multi-lingual prayers going up to the Heavens. Much love to you all and especially to that special Grandma Francie. One has to believe that Great-Grandma & Great-Grandpa Hermesch and Aunt Carla are pulling some strings from a higher eternal home while we are walking this Earth.

Thank you for all the updates and witness to the God's healing power. I tell my husband that I need to go check on the babies (the computer) to see how they're doing---now he asks me how they are doing. I am so glad to hear that Elizabeth is doing so well post partum---it's hard enough to recover from a C-section without sick children; the kids must get their strength and toughness from their mom!! Kellen sounds like he growing fast and becoming a strong little guy. Carson is amazing at what all he's been through and survived. PT to the neck should be a breeze for a little guy who is so determined and strong to make it against the odds. I love the thought of Jesus holding him while he has been so sick that he isn't held by humans often. It must really feel good to have his mom and dad rub his little head---so loving. The medical care the boys have received is phenomenal---God's love in human action. Thanks again for allowing me to witness your daily miracles. I continue to pray for your beautiful family and know that God will continue to Bless and Keep you.

I am praying for you!!! I too had a sweet little grandson in the same NICU unit you are in over 5 years ago. He weighed in at 2.2oz and had some of the same problems all preemies have.
